Top-secret documents showing Israel’s plans to attack Iran were posted on the messaging app Telegram on Friday, prompting the US to investigate how that classified information got out. The reports, prepared by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, were posted on Telegram and on X by the pro-Iran site Middle East Spectator, which said it received them from an anonymous source. The investigation aims to find whether the documents were intentionally leaked by someone internal to the US intelligence community or if they were hacked, per the AP. House Speaker Mike Johnson called the intelligence breach “very concerning.”

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.4-magnitude quake at 1:25 p.m., and a 3.1 followed at 1:34 p.m.
The area is the site of a 5.1-magnitude temblor that struck Sept. 16. According to USGS data, the area has seen 10 earthquakes of all magnitudes over the past seven days and about 60 over the past 30 days, with most being under 2.0 magnitude.
USGS data show about 500 earthquakes over the past 30 days, from roughly Culberson County in the west to Scurry County in the east. The largest was a 3.8-magnitude tremor on Sept. 26, about 25 miles northwest of Toyah, with a 3.7-magnitude quake a day earlier in the area.
