Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy want federal workers back in the office. In a WSJ opinion piece outlining their plan to curb government waste, the co-heads of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) wrote that they want to bar federal employees from working from home and compel them to come into the office five days a week. “American taxpayers shouldn’t pay them for the Covid-era privilege of staying home,” Musk and Ramaswamy wrote, and if workers don’t comply, it “would result in a wave of voluntary terminations that we welcome.” If adopted by the incoming Trump administration, mandating fully in-person attendance for the country’s largest workforce could set off fierce battles with federal worker unions.

President-elect Donald Trump's energy secretary nominee, Chris Wright, championed energy's role in bettering human lives earlier this year on stage at Hart Energy’s DUG GAS Conference and Expo.
Wright, an industry veteran with experience in solar, geothermal and fossil fuels, was praised amongst industry veterans after his nomination, including Continental Resources Founder Harold Hamm, Brigham Exploration Founder Bud Brigham and Pioneer Natural Resources Chairman Scott Sheffield.
“My dedication to bettering human lives remains steadfast, with a focus on making American energy more affordable, reliable and secure,” Wright said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, in response to his nomination by Trump.

ONEOK announced a pending sale of three pipeline networks to DT Midstream (DTM) for $1.2 billion on Nov. 19.
The three interstate networks, regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), are located in the north-central and Midwest U.S. and have a total capacity of 3.7 Bcf/d.
According to the company's announcement, the sale will allow ONEOK to focus on growing its operations in other areas, such as Texas and Colorado.
