Oklahoma rigs flat at 121 – US Rigs fall by 1 After 5 weeks in the plus column, the number of rigs in U.S. oil patch fell this week, offsetting a recent rebound for the industry.
The total U.S. rig count is down one from last week to 930, with oil rigs down four and gas rigs up three. The national rig count remains below the July peak of 958, but is well up from an all-time low of 404 rigs in May 2016.
The most active counties in Oklahoma with double-digit rigs running are Grady (30), Kingfisher (17), Canadian (16), Blaine (11) and Dewey (10).
